Alan Gillespie

Way back when the internet was still a twinkle in someone's eye, I started my Computing Studies degree, at Napier (Polytechnic) University. During Napiers transition from Polytechnic to University the Internet as you and I now know it was born and I grew up using email and websites as the technology itself was going through its infancy.

I was fortunate enough to land a job with Adobe after graduating and spent the following 3 years working for them, based at their European Headquarters in Edinburgh. This gave me a grounding in understanding the complexities of how larger companies work, and an opportunity to see quite a bit of Europe too!

I started working with Darryl at Ireckon in May 2000 and haven't looked back. Every week I learn something new as online technology continually changes and develops, pushing everyone forward. You've just got to remember to hold on tight to keep up with it!

What Alan does

I get to work with many different companies and learn how they do business and how they can deliver their brand, message and services online. My role is to make this delivery of service to their clients as smooth as possible. I'm the guy in the background making it work.

I have a passion for SEO and making things as easy as possible.
