Website Design: Ross High School
The need for a new website design and the ability to update content themselves lead Ross High School to Ireckon UK.
Ross High School is a state school located in the centre of Tranent. Established in 1954, Ross High School has a strong tradition of providing quality education, of promoting achievement and recognizing success.
Ross High School wanted a new website design that would appeal to all – pupils, parents, staff and outside organizations – at all levels.
Ireckon we’ve designed a new site for them that is both modern and fresh and easily accessible by all. The new design incorporates the school’s colours. Navigation through the site is easy and the site contains a wealth of information on not only who they are, but on each of the departments, extra curricular information, zones for parents, careers, library and fundraising zones, just to name a few.
The new website uses Ireckon Mini CMS. Our content management system allows staff to manage and add content on the site themselves. Each of the departments can add news, links, or upload documents to be accessed by all from the site. It allows content to be kept current and allows the staff at Ross High School to keep the parents, students, and wider community informed.
