Designing a dynamic web site for CCG
Capital Communications Group (CCG) is a large print marketing company based in Edinburgh. Having recently invested heavily in new printing equipment that allows for specialized and personalized print runs to be created, CCG set out to promote their new service.
A direct marketing campaign was initiated directed at key personnel in design agencies and marketing companies across Scotland. Each individual mail out contained a unique hyperlink which directed them to their own personalized web page.
CCG required a special website for www.makingitpersonal.co.uk which had the look of their current site, but contained a touch of personalization for each recipient of their mail out.
Ireckon we were able to create and design the website for www.makingitpersonal.co.uk. It required using dynamic graphics to replicate the personalized postcards that were sent out.
A database was also created by Ireckon UK containing information on all recipients of the mail out. Once they entered their unique URL into a browser, they were directed to a webpage that has the same look of the landing webpage, but dynamically displays personal text relating to them, over the trophy.
