BNI’s Inspiration Chapter in Hamilton, are one organisation that are benefiting from the Ireckon Search Engine Optimisation skills.
Ireckon fine tuned the Chapter website to allow each of the members to have a page detailing their business, the types of referrals they would like as well as including the main contact details for each of the businesses.
A simple search on Microsofts UK web site, for the keyword terms Jim Kerr Joiner brings back BNI Member Jim Kerr to the front page of the search and very high on the list of results. With this result, one of Jims newest customers was able to find him and contact him.
Another example of web site optimisation is the newly introduced ten minute talk section of the Chapter web site. Each week at a BNI meeting, members get to give a 6 to 10 minute talk or presentation about their own business. Using keywords, phrases and terms used within this presentation, Ireckon put together a growing database of speeches, which are displayed on line. Each six minute talk contains keywords and links to the associated business, helping them promote themselves online further.
You can see the latest talk from Danny Cameron of In Touch Communications. Danny, during his 6 minute talk, discussed the new Vodafone Simply mobile phone, mobile phone accessories, including in car chargers, mobile phone adapters and a range of Bluetooth and handsfree kits.
