Due to a technical issue, the Sanders Jones domain name was directed to an incorrect server for several hours. Craig Cameron, one of the directors of Sanders Jones contacted Ireckon on the Monday evening around 5pm.
"I renewed my hosting subscription for a year earlier this morning,", explained Craig on the Monday evening, " but the hosting company have decided to move our domain name from one server to another, leaving us with limited facilities including no email or active web site."
Ireckon who have dedicated hosting servers in the U.K. and Australia were able to manage the sandersjones.com domain name and point it to directly to their U.K. server. At the same time, a snap shot of the web site was taken from the hosting server and migrated to the new location on the Ireckon web server.
Due to propagation of domain names across the internet, Sanders Jones were possibly looking at up to 48hrs of disrupted services.
Thankfully, with Ireckons technical knowledge, and fast thinking, Sanders Jones were back up and running within 5 hours of the initial call.
